From Monday 25 November 2013 to Friday 24 January 2014 Birmingham city council is consulting on the Mobility Action Plan which ‘presents a twenty year vision for improving transport’. The consultation includes a number of drop-in sessions at locations around the city.

At the Ladywood Community Centre drop-in session on 10 December, the consultation staff had packed up and gone well before the advertised finish time of 7pm. At 6.10pm the Centre’s receptionist said the BMAP crew had gone ‘about six’ because no members of the public had come along to the consultation.
